1. Pomegranate Watermelon Juice Recipe

-2 pomegranates

-2 cups (500g) Watermelon

-2-3 sticks of Celery

-1 /2 – 1 Ruby Grapefruit (optional – to reduce the sweetness if it’s too sweet for your taste)


1.Wash all produce well.

2.Peel and remove the seeds from the pomegranate. Easiest way is to cut the pomegranate into 4 quarters and turn them inside out and remove the seeds. It doesn’t matter if you get some of the white matter as this contains a natural anti-viral compound. (This can be a little bitter). Don’t wear a white top like I did while doing this.

3.Chop the watermelon.

4.Juice and pour over ice.

Servings: 1

2. Tropical theme Smoothie

Blend the following ingredients together:
-½ of a frozen banana

-1 orange

-1/2 cup mango

-1/2 cup cooked cauliflower

-1 tsp of ginger

-1 tsp of turmeric

- a dash of black pepper

-half a lemon (peeled)

-1/2 cup yogurt, up to 1 1/2 cups unsweetened liquid of choice.
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Enjoy!

3. Vitamin C Smoothie

A kiwi has over 70% of the recommended daily value of vitamin C, To make this citrusy smoothie, add

-1 or 2 kiwis

-3 strawberries

-200ml yogurt

-100ml orange juice, and a few ice cubes to blend in your ice-crushing blender. 
Now enjoy this orangey smoothie.

4. Healthy Green Smoothie

Mix a handful

  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 cups mix of spinach/Kale frozen
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 2 tbs hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 cup fruit of choice: Kiwi, pineapple
  • 1tbsp Ginger

Blend your greens + liquids first and then add others and blend till smooth. Enjoy!
